Originally from McDonough, Georgia, Sam earned a BA in Biology from Georgia Southern University in 2014. After graduating ministered with Campus Outreach in both Cuzco, Peru and Augusta, Georgia. While serving as a medical translator, Sam sensed the call of God directing he would not be healing the body as a doctor, but souls through the power of the Holy Spirit as a Pastor. Sam is earning an M.Div and MAC from Covenant Theological Seminary. He started the Residency in September 2022 and is UnderCare with Missouri Presbytery. Sam and Caroline married in 2021. They hope to see the Gospel of Christ bring racial unity through their lives and marriage.
Gentri Williams

Gentri was born in Baton Rouge, La. and has lived there and in New Orleans, La. for most of his life. He attended college at Xavier University of Louisiana and finished with a degree in Chemistry and a masters in education. He served at St.Roch Community Church as an elder and interim pastor and is currently working toward a Masters of Divinity at Covenant Theological Seminary. He and his wife Kayti have three girls , Elyse, Esther, and Evelyn. Gentri enjoys jazz and hip-hop, sports, reading, and loves cooking. He enjoys spending time with family and enjoying nature as well.
David Vilches

David was the first graduate of the Pastoral Residency Program. He began serving in January 2020 while earning his M.Div from Covenant Theological Seminary. David excelled in Mission & Outreach in the West End. David was called as Assistant Pastor at All Saints Presbyterian in Austin, Texas. He is married to Ruth and they have two children, Eliana and Santiago.

A St. Louis native, DJ graduated from the Residency Program in August 2022. He excelled in promoting and proclaiming God’s justice in communities like the West End. DJ continues to be a leader in the community as a football coach and within St. Louis Public Schools. He is married to Eboni and they have 3 children, DeeJay, Artys, and Lyric
